NERDS (Nurturing Educational Readiness & Development from the Start) is a local nonprofit serving students K-12. Our mission is to inspire the inner nerd to learn for Life through engaging hands-on learning activities, defining a NERD as anyone who desires to learn. Our NERD Life program aims to develop students socially, educationally, and financially through four core principles: Social Development, Leadership Development, Self-Care, and Financial Literacy.
Our NERDLIFE program is STEM focused infused with creativity and literacy to provide a fun nurturing environment to grow and learn. NERDLIFE activities consist of STEM, book club, Arts, and academic enrichment.
We are currently looking for volunteers to assist with concession at Cintas Center on March 7, 2020.
Concession Stand Workers are responsible for selling concessions to spectators at a variety of events. Resume samples for Concession Stand Workers mention duties like welcoming guests at the concession stand, taking orders for food or beverage, presenting prices and packing options, processing cash payments, operating food preparation equipment, and maintaining the stand clean and sanitized.
