Students will move between three homes of formerly homeless residents who now are working to get back on their feet and have a home to care for - activities include grass cutting, weeding, trimming small trees, rock removal.
What is Welcome Home Collaborative?
The Welcome Home Collaborative’s primary mission is to provide transitional housing for the homeless, working poor and struggling families, who are seeking a second chance in life to successfully transition from dependency to independency. The program seeks to give individuals a sense of self-worth and belonging and to escape the vicious cycle of poverty and homelessness.
