Volunteers are needed to help set up, decorate, monitor and break down a free children's trick-or-treat event at the Burnet Woods Park Trailside Nature Center. Tasks will include setting up barricades, setting up tables and chairs, setting up tents, decorating the venue, possibly creating a display, monitoring barricades, giving directions, and breaking event down after the event is completed.
Some volunteers may be tasked with passing out candy or leading a short 'spooky walk' on a park trail.
Respectful KID-FRIENDLY costumes are encouraged (please no adult-oriented or scary costumes). Nature-inspired costumes are especially appreciated.
Volunteers will be outdoors and are likely to be on their feet for event duration, so consider this in relation to footwear and weather appropriate clothing choices.
