During this time, volunteers will be responsible for assisting students who come in to use the pantry and/or career closet services, organizing the pantry and career closet, checking expiration dates on food items, and other small tasks that may come up. If there are times when the pantry is slow, we encourage our volunteers to spend the down time in the pantry to work on homework and other studies. A good way to receive service hours while you study!
It will be your responsibility to make sure you are there for the entirety of the shift. If, for any reason you are unable to attend the full 2 hour slot, please communicate this with us by email at least 24 hours prior to the start of your shift. Please note that the pantry and career closet will be closed on any days in which the University of Cincinnati is closed.
