Walking distance from UC - Inwood Park is nestled into the hillside of Vine Street.
Cincinnati Parks is working on a major improvement project at Inwood Park. Due to a serious invasive species issue in the park, there is a heavy concentration of litter in specific areas that are posing a public safety threat, as well as threat to the environment.
Volunteers will be working in designated areas to remove litter and debris. Other tasks will include cutting, dragging and picking up brush.
Volunteers will need to be prepared in long pants/sleeves, sturdy footwear, and ready for weather. Staff will meet volunteers on site, provide equipment and safety guidelines.
