Restocking Shelves for Hungry Families

The Food Room is the largest neighborhood food pantry among all Freestore Foodbank member agencies. It is a choice food pantry offering clients foods of their choice according to family composition, nutritional needs, cooking availability and tastes. Client choices are augmented by fresh produce, pre-selected meals and personal hygiene products. Homeless clients receive special boxes with foods that can be consumed without heating.

Volunteers are needed to help move the food pantry to another location within the building then restock shelves with food so we're ready to receive families on Monday, October 8. The Food Room will be under renovation until mid November.
