Fall has arrived with crisp air, pumpkins, hayrides and SUNFLOWERS! Gorman Heritage Farm's annual Sunflower Festival has all this and more!
We are looking for volunteers to help us on Saturday, 10/6 and Sunday, 10/7 with our biggest annual tradition; our Sunflower Festival. We are looking for help selling pumpkins, selling cut your own sunflowers from our field, hayride helpers, docents with the animals, recycling, trash monitoring and admissions.
We will have 2 shifts each day from 9:30am-2pm and 1:45-6:15pm with Admissions starting earlier (9am-1:30pm, 1-5:30). Come join us for this fun and wonderful celebration of the Fall season! While working, you can enjoy great foodtrucks, terrific vendors and some musical entertainment. If you sign up for one shift, you can enjoy the festival during the other shift. What fun!
