What does it mean to be a good neighbor and member of your community?
Recognizing that safety, wellness, and community are integral elements of sustainability, Living in the Neighborhood is a collaborative, interdisciplinary speaker series hosted by UC|sustainability, the University of Cincinnati Student Wellness Center, the Center for Community Engagement and the Office of Community Development with the vision of enhancing the Uptown Cincinnati community through creating more livable, just, and robust neighborhoods.
The third installment of the series is led by the Office of Sustainability and Office of Community Development and will explore:
- The neighborhoods of Uptown
-Community as pillars to sustainability
-Sustainable Transportation
-Litter Concerns
-Recycling off-campus
Living in the Neighborhood Series Fall 2018:
• September 4th – TUC 417, 6:00pm, hosted by the Center for Community Engagement
• October 9th – TUC 417, 6:00pm, hosted by the Student Wellness Center
• November 13th –TUC 417, 6:00pm, hosted by the Office of Sustainability
