Girl Scouts is hosting a day camp while the girls in the St. Bernard & Elmwood Place communities are on their spring break.
Seeking driving UC students or interested in taking an Uber (at student cost) to help at Girl Scout day indoor camp the week of March 26-30. You choose 2 days to volunteer arriving at 8:30 and leaving at 12:30. You and 3 other UC students will lead a group of girls in Girl Scout activities in the areas of: acting, art, fashion, storytelling, world cultures using a curriculum outline. Girl Scout staff will be in attendance helping with facilitation. Each day we will gather in large group for opening circle and break off into small groups to facilitate activities and close the day out with an ending friendship circle of songs and wrap up.
Please choose 2 days that are you are able to participate the entire time of 8:30-12:30. You will receive 8 service hours for 2 days.
