Join us in helping to teach healthy and affordable cooking classes for families. Prior cooking knowledge is preferred but not mandatory. Please sign up for what days you are available to help.
Ideally, we'd like to have 3-4 volunteers per class. We encourage you sign up for the full shift but if you can't please select the time slot(s) that work with your schedule. You can signup for multiple shifts by clicking the blue "Respond to Multiple" box located at the top right of the shifts section below. The FULL shift time starts at 3:31 while just the setup shift starts at 3:30.
Time slots are broken up into:
- FULL SHIFT (5.5 hours) - Preferred but understand if your schedule doesn't allow it.
- setup (1.75 hours)
- class (3 hours)
- cleanup (1.75 hours)
We also encourage you to try to attend all of the classes in a certain session if possible, but if you can't, please mark the days you can help. The students really build relationships with you, and it's great if they see the same faces each week. Thanks so much!!
