Become a positive force to young men ages 10-17 by sharing your knowledge, skills, and time. Spend time with youth playing basketball, canoeing, or riding bikes; host a bbq or movie night; teach a life skills class; assist staff during meal times.
The Lighthouse Youth Development Center is a residential treatment facility. This facility houses up to 16 young men ages 10-17 who are in the child welfare system. Your time spent volunteering will help to provide these youth with a role model to look to for guidance and support.
Volunteers must be 18 or older and commit to volunteering at least six months.
