On May 8th, 300 middle-school girls, primarily from Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS), will gather at UC for the P&G-sponsored "Greenlight for Girls" event.
Greenlight for Girls is an event held around the world. Their organization, of the same name, is based in Brussels, Belgium. Greenlight for Girls provides middle-school-aged girls, especially those who are diverse and “under-served” from low-income communities, with hands-on, exciting Science and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) experiences. The heart of the event is a series of volunteer-led workshops that are designed to inspire girls’ interest in STEM learning and careers. Volunteers will come mainly from P&G and also include several faculty members and their research teams.
