One of the Center for Community Engagement's signature programs is the Bearcat Buddies tutoring program. Bearcat Buddies connects UC students to children in six Cincinnati Public Schools through tutoring. Tutors and their students build relationships that are mutually beneficial, rewarding, and fun!
This Friday, in partnership with the University of Cincinnati Student Government's Engage UC initiative, we welcome UC students to stop by Tangeman University Center (TUC) and write a note encouraging children in Cincinnati Public Schools to have a great year, work hard, and reach for their dreams.
Stop by TUC and look for Student Government and Center for Community Engagement representatives in the TUC Atrium (300 level, near PNC Bank) for your chance to write a note to a child who could benefit from your encouragement. Overflow space will be available in TUC 400A. Notes will be delivered to Cincinnati Public Schools students by Bearcat Buddies tutors.
