The Cincinnati Street Food Festival is an annual Walnut Hills tradition started in 2012. For one day, the streets are closed and taken over by live music, art and of course, food trucks! The fest is a bash that celebrates all the wonderful things about Walnut Hills and invites our neighbors from across the city to come visit.
This year, the fest is on Saturday, October 1, from 11AM to 5PM along East McMillan St. (intersection of E. McMillan and Concord Ave.) in the heart of the Walnut Hills business district, just a few short miles from UC, downtown, and OTR.
This is an excellent community service activity for UC students. You will get to experience a celebrated annual event just a few miles from campus while gaining exposure to a neighborhood that is going through exciting residential and commercial changes.
There are several shifts to choose from. All participants will receive a free t-shirt, snacks, and academic volunteer hours.
If you'd like to get involved, sign up here!

The festival is organized by the Walnut Hills Redevelopment Foundation, which is a non-profit community development corporation working to enhance the quality of life in Walnut Hills.
Note that transportation will not be provided.
