The official opening of the Cincinnati Streetcar on September 9th has the city abuzz with excitement!
In anticipation of this grand opening event, Keep Cincinnati Beautiful is planning a Great American Cleanup event to help beautify the area around the northern Streetcar tracks in Over-the-Rhine a few days before the big event. And we need volunteers!
Tasks include:
– Litter pickup
– Weeding sidewalks, street trees, right-of-way
– Cutting overgrowth
– Painting meter poles
– Painting fire hydrants
– Possible other projects TBD, dependent on funding provided from participating groups
— Other projects could include planting flowers, mulching, or other painting tasks
