Attend the annual Community Engagement Expo to receive one (1) hour of volunteer hours! All you have to do is register below, check-in at the event, and you will receive your hour!

The Community Engagement Expo is an annual event hosted by the Center for Community Engagement. This event takes place every August or September and invites students to come and get to know various community organizations. Whether you're a commuting student who is looking for community-based support services, an off-campus student looking to get involved in your neighborhood, or a student who wants to receive volunteer hours, we invite you to attend to get to know some of our community organizations and partners!
Do you want to receive an additional hour for attending this event?!
Student attendees are eligible for volunteer service hours! Each student will receive one volunteer hour for attending - we believe that you are serving your community by engaging with community organizations and other opportunities to get involved! In addition, you can receive an additional volunteer hour by interacting with ten (10) or more tables at the Community Engagement Expo. Here's how it works:
- Sign-Up to Attend - Register for the "Community Engagement Expo" by signing up to attend on UC's Volunteer Portal.
- Check-In When You Arrive - When you arrive at the Community Engagement Expo, check-in with a student leader at one of our check-in tables. We will have two (2) check-in tables, one located at Daniels Street and Short Vine Street, and the other located at W Charlton Street and Short Vine Street.
- Complete Your Community Engagement Expo Passport - At check-in, you will receive a half sheet of paper with ten (10) different boxes and types of campus and community organizations. You must go throughout the Community Engagement Expo and interact with at least ten (10) different campus and community organizations, then ask them to initial one of the boxes.
- Turn In Your Community Engagement Expo Passport - Once you have collected at least ten (10) initials at different tables, then you can come back to one of the Check-In tables, write your name, cell phone number, and UC email, and turn in your Community Engagement Expo Passport to receive an additional volunteer service hour. In addition, you are entered in to a raffle prize to be eligble to win a UC Swag Basket (see photo below).
