The ArtWalk is an opportunity for the resident artists of the Essex to open their studios and invite the public to see their process and sell their creations. Guest Artists are also invited to purchase table/wall space and sell their work. Each ArtWalk features a theme to inspire both resident and guest artists to create new work or share something older either in their own spaces or as part of the ArtWalk People's Choice Art Contest. This contest is open to the volunteers as well and will be judged by the ArtWalk visitors. All media types are accepted and must be turned in by Thursday May 7th, 6:00pm. Volunteers are needed for
- manning the free coffee table(s)
- running the Essex merchandise table
- greeting visitors and giving them the event map/brochure
- directing visitors in the parking lot
