Join us for an individual community clean-up in the Corryville area! When you arrive at the check-in location (2728 Short Vine St), you will see a check-in table with waivers for you to sign. There will be a safety talk for everyone to attend, so please make sure to arrive promptly at 11:00 AM.
After check-in, you will split off with one of the site supervisors to clean a specific area of Corryville (a map will be provided with some of the possible routes we’ll take). You are encouraged to clean sidewalks and nearby grassy areas, but must stay out of alleys and private property. If you are unsure about a location, ask your site supervisor before proceeding.
This is a team-based opportunity, so everyone should stay within close eye distance of each other to ensure safety and efficiency. All supplies must be returned to the check-in location between 12:45 PM and 1:00 PM as the event concludes.
How are my volunteer hours determined?
Volunteer hours are based on the duration of the event. If volunteers stay on task and work as a team, 2 volunteer hours will be awarded.
Important Note (Sponsor Requirement)
This event is sponsored by Keystone's Mac Shack. To receive a discount voucher from Keystone's Mac Shack, you must be present for the entire time from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This event is different from other volunteer opportunities — partial attendance will not qualify for the discount voucher.
Preparing for Your Community Clean-Up
Come prepared!
- Bring water and stay hydrated
- Check the weather and dress appropriately
- Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
Safety Guidelines
- Closed-toe shoes are required
- Long pants are recommended
- Do not handle sharp or hazardous objects — report them to the organizer immediately
