The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra is seeking volunteers for its 2025-2026 Subscription Series, which runs from October through May. Missa Solemnis will be performed at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral Basilica downtown Cincinnati.
Responsibilities include: ushers, taking tickets, program distribution. (Actual assignment is provided after check-in) A brief training period is held at 6pm at each volunteer date. **Please arrive at 5:45 entry through the front doors off Plum street. PArk along 8th street or in the parking garage across the street. Lot to the south of cathedral is for needing handicapped and accessible parking.
Age requirement is 15 or older, or accompanied by a parent.
**The dress for the volunteering is —
Men: Black, charcoal or dark blue suit (preferably no brown) or dark dress slacks and sport jacket; dress shirt; tie; dress shoes. The dress code basically is Dark long slacks, and a light top (if no jacket, then a tie both isn’t necessary up to you..) a Sweater is also fine.
Women: Black loose-fitting pants or black tea-length skirt (below the knee when sitting); white blouses (color accent optional); black shoes. Makeup should be in good taste; hair neat and tasteful. Absolute must is comfortable shoes ;)
