Join us to support our largest fundraising event - the Chama! Together we will raise funds to continue to train firefighters and to support our fire prevention programs across Africa to end the devastating impact that uncontrolled fire has on the lives, health and wellness of individuals and communities across Africa. Our event takes place on October 11th, 2025 at the Local 48 Cincinnati Union Hall.
Join us to help with set-up, event operations, or clean-up/tear down! Check the times below to see the needs for each day:
Friday, October 10th:
- 1:30-4:00 PM, Day Before Set-Up (Join us the day before our event to help us set-up the venue!)
Saturday, October 11th:
- 3:00-5:00 PM, Day Of Set-Up (Join us the day of to help us prepare the venue!)
- 5:00-9:00 PM, Event Volunteer (Join us during the event for a variety of support roles. We are looking for general operations support, check-in volunteers, runners, and other support.)
- 9:00-11:00 PM, After Event Tear Down (Join us directly after the event to help us begin the clean up/tear down process.)
Monday, October 13th:
- 9:00-10:00 AM, After Event Tear Down (Additional support for the cleanup of the venue.)
