Cincinnati Pride Parade Clean-Up
About Cincinnati Pride
The purpose of Cincinnati Pride is to provide the Greater Cincinnati LGBTQIA+ community and allies with a forum that promotes inclusion and acceptance while affirming individuality. Cincinnati Pride works to produce programs that inspire, educate, and commemorate our rich history, while also celebrating diverse culture. Cincinnati Pride fosters collaboration with area organizations and businesses through sponsorships, partnerships, and programming, and provide resources to positively impact the lives of all individuals regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.
About The Opportunity
You will be in charge of picking up trash from the streets (as long as
they are closed) and sidewalks along the 2nd half of the parade route (from
Vine and West Freedom Way to the end of the route at the intersection of Butler
Street and E Pete Rose Way). Please see the map below.
The event takes place on 6/28/2025 from 11:30p-3:30p. We will meet at the intersection of Second St. and Race St. at the corner closest to Paycor Stadium (see picture below) and then walk over together to the parade cleanup route.

You will be provided with tools to pick up trash. Once you are done sweeping the area, you will take your trash to the Pride HQ/Festival Volunteer Check-In and dump it in the designated Rumpke dumpsters. Pride HQ/Festival Volunteer Check-In is pictured below at the end of Butler Street, under the Purple People Bridge.

This opportunity will count for four (4) volunteer hours. If the event runs long, we will add additional hours.
