Thank you for your interest in being a Project Plus (P+) Volunteer!
P+ is a math enrichment program for children ages 5-12. It takes place during a six-week summer camp organized for homeless children in the neighborhood. We are currently recruiting for the second three weeks of the program (early July—late July).
Participating in P+ offers an excellent chance to develop hands-on experience with children while enhancing leadership and research skills.
The minimum time commitment is 9 hours (3 days) during July (7/1 - 7/16). You can sign up for the days that work best for you. The meeting times are Monday through Thursday. Times vary depending on location and not all locations meet every day.
There are three school locations volunteers can choose from (Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and/or Fairfield)
School 1: Mercy Montessori School, 2335 Grandview Ave, Cincinnati OH 45206
Cincinnati hours: 9:20 AM - 12:05 PM - M, W, Th
School 2: Florence Elementary School, 103rd Center Street, Florence, KY 41042
Florence hours: 9:20 AM - 12:05 PM - M, T, Th
School 3: South Elementary, 5460 Bilbury Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014
Fairfield hours: 8:50 AM - 11:30 AM - M, T, W
