Grab a few friends and join us in cleaning the community!
Swing by 2728 Short Vine St. to check-in and grab your provided trash bag or bucket, and trash grabber. After check-in you will need to watch a safety video. You will not be permitted to volunteer unless the video is watched. If you have already seen the safety video, you will not need to rewatch it.
Choose any area in the surrounding community to get started! You can clean up near the check-in site in Corryville--or you can make your way to a surrounding street/neighborhood of your choice.
Make sure to arrive to check-in at least 2 hours before the opportunity ends (3pm). Supplies will need to be returned to the same location at 2:50pm to allow for check-out time.
How are my volunteer hours determined?
- Two full buckets: 1 volunteer hour
- One full trash bag: 3 volunteer hours
Since the event duration in total is 6 hours, 6 hours is displayed
below. Volunteer hours only follow the guidelines above.
If you're participating with a group, the total trash collected
will be divided amongst the total number of group members.
How to prepare:
- Dress for the weather!
- Make sure to have your Bearcat Card
- Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended
- Gloves will not be provided, you may bring some of your own if you would like to
