Behavior Selection and Barrier/Benefit Survey - Soil & Water Conservation

Expired

Description

We're seeking independent, motivated volunteers from the University of Cincinnati to help collect short Google Form surveys from the public to support soil and water conservation efforts in the Greater Cincinnati area. These surveys will help the Regional Storm Water Collaborative (RSWC) identify key behaviors and barriers related to conservation practices like rain barrels, native plants, and no-mow zones.

Volunteers will go out on their own to public places such as parks, libraries, grocery stores, community events, and more. This is a self-guided outreach effort — you will not be supervised. Your role will be to engage with the public, ask them survey questions, and record their responses electronically. Afterward, you'll report how many surveys you successfully completed.

Each collaborative member organization will conduct at least one hour of surveys to increase geographic spread in the Greater Cincinnati Area. Each surveyor will ask about only one behavior at a time. Surveyors can switch the behavior they are surveying if they feel they are starting to hear the same responses over and over.
