The generous vendors at this market donate unsold food items, weekly at the end of market, with the help of volunteers (like you!) who collect, weigh, and record the donations. You then hand the donations off to a Last Mile Food Rescue volunteer who takes them to La Soupe.
This shift starts at 12:15 PM Sundays and runs about 1.25-1.5 hours. Expect to do some lifting when you carry (or pull in a cart) laundry baskets of donated food.
