We are looking for amazing companionship volunteers for our beloved hospice patients. Whether it is sitting and chatting, completing a craft, puzzle, or game together to just listening to them speak, reading to them, or sitting with them to watch their favorite TV show, you can do so much to enrich the lives of our patients that cannot get out and socialize like they used to. You may even have the opportunity to help their pets as a part of our Pet Peace of Mind Program by having a pet playdate, taking their pets on walks, and other pet care needs.
Most volunteers give about 4 hours a month of their time. Short term and long term opportunities are always available. There is a state required background check and drug test. And, in house training is provided.
