This volunteer opportunity is to assist in helping with set up, facilitating, and tearing down the Campus Recreation Center (CRC) gymnasium set-up for the School of Information Technology's annual IT EXPO event on Tuesday, April 8th. This opportunity will be include different responsibilities for each shift available, please see below for more detail.
Shifts and Descriptions:
- 7:30am-9am - The Welcome and Set-up Crew
- This shift will have the following tasks: traffic assistance in directing garage parking, material unloading for IT EXPO booths, greeters for the event.
- 8am-1pm - Judge Escorts
- This shift will have the following tasks: guiding the event judges to their respective judging areas at the right time.
- 8am-1pm - Highschool Escorts
- This shift will have the following tasks: guiding high school groups and their chaperones around IT EXPO as they navigate through tours, presentations, lunch, etc..
- 10:30am-12:30pm - Lunch & SWAG Crew
- This shift will have the following tasks: helping organize and hand out boxed lunches and IT EXPO themed t-shirts, bags, etc. for the event.
- 1:30pm-3pm - Tear Down Crew
- This shift will have the following tasks: put away the physical space for EXPO, including chairs & tables, materials for booths, etc. for the event.
All Day Helper:
- 8am-3pm - Work Horse Crew
- This shift will be a miscellaneous and floating task group which will pitch in wherever needed during the event, including all the above roles.
