On Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, and Wednesday, February 12th, 2025, Hoxworth Blood Center will need some of your wonderful assistance at the Queen City/Cyclone’s Blood Drive at the Heritage Bank Center -(100 Broadway Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202).
The blood drive will run from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Tuesday (2/11) and from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM on Wednesday (2/12). We will have two shifts with an early and a late shift both days both of which are four hours in length. On Tuesday, shifts will be 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM & 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM. On Wednesday, shifts will be 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM & 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Early shifts will help with set-up for the blood drive and late shifts will help with packing up at the end of the drive.
All Volunteers will receive a lunch (either Hot Head Burrito or Donato's Pizza) and free parking close to the event space. We mostly need more volunteers to escort donors through the blood drive, as well as, monitoring them for any reactions and providing them with parking validation and gifts.
We rely heavily on our Volunteer team at these large-scale blood drive events, due to your experience and expertise in being positive representatives of Hoxworth Blood Center/UC. We are expecting close to 200 donors each day at the blood drive and need your help to let these donors know how special they really are.
