The Liberty Street Market is the largest neighborhood food pantry among all Freestore Foodbank member agencies. It is a choice food pantry offering clients foods of their choice according to family composition, nutritional needs, cooking availability, and tastes. Client choices are augmented by fresh produce, pre-selected meals, and personal hygiene products. Homeless clients receive special boxes with foods that can be consumed without heating.
Volunteer Task: Volunteers will stock shelves, assist customers during their shopping experience, staff the check-out counter, and perform simple maintenance activities to keep the market clean and customer-friendly.
There are 2 shifts available: 7:45am - 12pm and 11:30am - 3:30pm (Monday - Friday)
