How did the pioneer Augspurger Family that settled Chrisholm celebrate the holidays over 200 years ago? Learn about holidays both new and old on the farm through fun activities and a craft.
December 19 - Presents for the Animals
How do the farm animals prepare for the upcoming festive season? Help us make a holiday feast to share with them and enjoy other winter-themed activities.
Task:
We are looking for volunteers to serve as sweeps walking at the back of the group to ensure nobody gets separated while on the hike. Volunteers are encouraged to bring headlamps for this hike

Weather:
We will work through light rain but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
Accommodations:
The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
