Event Description:
Many types of birds travel through Ohio on their migration back to their winter homes in Central and South America. Let's see who's passing through Harbin Park and check in on our resident birds who will be staying through the winter!
Task:
We are looking for volunteers to support programming staff by assisting with the setup and teardown as well as serving as the sweep at the back of the group ensuring no one gets separated.
Dates Times and Location
- Saturday. September 21, 8:00 am - 10:00 pm Harbin Park Overlook Shleter (1300 Hunter Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014 )
Weather:
We will work through light rain but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
Accommodations:
The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
