The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra (KSO) seeks volunteers for its Saturday night "Merry Christmas, Darling" concert. Its a great way to hear beautiful high quality music and help your community, by making sure the KSO can provide affordable, attractive and accessible programs. Volunteers are extremely important for a successful concert experience. The concert will be held in Greaves Concert Hall, on the campus of Northern Kentucky University (located just 6 minutes from downtown Cincinnati).
Actual job assignments are provided after check-in. But volunteer responsibilities might include (one of the following):
- ushers (helping patrons find their seats),
- taking tickets,
- program distribution or
- small concession stand
A brief training period is held at 6pm.

All volunteers will be issued badges/ worn at all times while at Greaves.
Volunteers and patrons park for free in Lots D or Lot I (to the right at the first stop sign).
The dress for volunteers is —
Men: dark dress slacks and sport jacket; dress shirt; tie; dress shoes. The dress code basically is Dark long slacks, and a light top (if no jacket, then a tie both isn’t necessary up to you.) a Sweater is also fine.
Women: Black loose-fitting pants or black tea-length skirt (below the knee when sitting); white blouses (color accent optional); black shoes. Makeup should be in good taste; hair neat and tasteful.
IMPORTANT TO WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES! You’ll be standing for over an hour, and walking the lobby to help set up.
