We'll start at the gate along the Mill Creek Greenway@ 3619 Millcreek Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45223.
Having a few group leaders will help keep the volunteers on track. If you are experienced in identifying honeysuckle, team management, and want to help lead some small groups please email directly your interest to BENNETT KOTTLER: bkottler@themillcreekalliance.org. All others who want to learn and impact our watershed, show up and we will have you use your smart phone to sign waivers and check in.
It will be the usual work of cutting honeysuckle and a few other invasives (i.e. porcelain berry) and dabbing with Roundup.
We'll dispose of the woody debris either (a) staging it for the City removal or (b) partway down the 60'-wide streambank.
MCA will have all tools and gloves.
Please wear a hat and sunscreen, long pants, long sleeves, layers of warm clothes, & closed-toe shoes that may get muddy. Bring your own reusable water bottle!
