We will be back kicking off our TreeForestation program this month at Walnut Woods of Evanston! Tasks will range from spring cleanup maintenance, vine pulling, honeysuckle and burdock removal. And remember no prior training is necessary to attend any of our workdays.
Where to park & meet: Walnut Woods of Evanston: 3259 Sulsar Ave Cincinnati, OH 45207. There is free parking along Sulsar Ave. We'll meet by the Walnut Woods of Evanston kiosk and the benches, located near the trailhead.
When to meet:
Saturday, February 24th
9am - 12pm
What to bring: A refillable water bottle, bug spray / sunscreen, gardening gloves closed-toed and appropriate clothing for the weather. All other tools & gardening materials will be provided.
Weather concerns: Rain or shine! We won’t let a little rain get in the way, but if severe weather arises, we’ll notify you of any cancellation.
Waiver: We will be on Cincinnati Parks land, so we need you to please fill out their waiver linked here!
