We need Team Leaders to help lead fellow Bearcats into service at the 2020 Spring Neighborhood Enhancement Program! There will be a mandatory meeting for all team leaders (date and time TBD) prior to the event. Team leaders will help make sure things run smoothly for the Spring Neighborhood Enhancement Program (NEP) on Saturday, April 25 from 8:00a - 2:30p. You should be able to attend both the Team Leader meeting (date and time TBD) and the event itself on 4/25 to participate.
Perks include:
- 2 additional hours of off-campus community service for the 2020 Spring NEP (for a total of 8 hours)
- A chance to pick the project you will work on before the day of the event
- An opportunity to step up as a leader both on and off campus
- The personal satisfaction of having an important role on a special day of service to our community
Duties include:
- Attending a Team Leader meeting prior to the event (date and time TBD)
- Arriving early to the 2020 Spring NEP event to help set up at 8:00a
- Being a leader for your volunteer team throughout the 2020 Spring NEP event
- Being the point of contact for any day-of communication with your team
- Making sure fellow volunteers have a good experience, work hard, and help meet the needs of the community
The NEP is a 90-day collaborative effort between City departments, neighborhood residents and community organizations. Read more about the NEP here. By volunteering as a team leader, you will not only help our community realize its full potential but you will help yourself realize your own potential too!
