About our Organization

Young Adult Renal Resource Program is a healthcare advocacy and support network specifically designed for young adults ages 18-38 who are living with end-stage kidney disease. Its primary objective is to bridge the vulnerable care gap that occurs when patients transition from pediatric nephrology to adult medical care systems.

How our organization engages UC students

YARRP engages UC students by bridging the gap between pediatric and adult healthcare for young adults battling End-Stage Kidney Disease. Students can engage by volunteerism, patient mentorship & peer support, living donation awareness campaigns and nonprofit leadership experience Students have direct access to volunteer roles with YARRP. Pre-medical, nursing, and public health students can assist with community outreach, patient education, and local fundraising events aimed at easing the transition burdens for young kidney patients.
