Gift of Life Marrow Registry

About our Organization

Gift of Life Marrow Registry is a nonprofit organization dedicated to curing blood cancers and inherited blood disorders by connecting patients with matching stem cell and marrow donors. Since 1991, Gift of Life has worked to grow a diverse registry of volunteer donors, provide support throughout the donation process, and advance lifesaving cellular therapies. Through community outreach, education, and donor recruitment efforts, we help give patients around the world a second chance at life.

How our organization engages UC students

Gift of Life Marrow Registry engages students through volunteer opportunities and its Campus Ambassador Program, empowering them to help save lives by recruiting potential stem cell and marrow donors on campus through a simple cheek swab! Join the fight against blood cancer and blood disorders, where over 134 Universities nationwide have worked to find lifesaving matches for patients worldwide. Students can gain hands-on experience in community outreach, event planning, leadership, and public speaking while hosting donor registration drives and educational events on campus. Through these opportunities, volunteers make a meaningful impact by helping patients in need of a lifesaving donor match.
