Bearcats for ALS is a student-led organization at the University of Cincinnati dedicated to raising awareness and support for people living with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a progressive neurological disease that affects nerve cells controlling muscle movement. The club works to educate students about ALS, fundraise for research and patient support, and create service opportunities that help families affected by the disease.
Through events, fundraising, community outreach, and awareness campaigns, Bearcats for ALS brings UC students together to make a meaningful impact on the ALS community while promoting compassion, service, and advocacy on campus. ALS research and patient care efforts are supported by programs and clinics connected to UC’s neuroscience and medical community.
How our organization engages UC students
Bearcats for ALS engages UC students by raising awareness, building community, and creating ways for students to get involved in helping people with ALS.
