Safe Families for Children

Safe Families for Children is a movement that partners with churches, volunteers, and community organizations to support families facing crises such as homelessness, unemployment, substance use, mental health challenges, or other life stressors. The program focuses on prevention, aiming to stabilize families before foster care becomes necessary, and emphasizes keeping children with their parents whenever possible.

Students can organize donated materials, interview parents for newsletters, offer childcare, and mentor children.
