Net Impact UC’s Consulting offers students real-world experience in tackling sustainability challenges and honing essential skills for a successful career in this field. By providing free services to businesses in the community for their sustainability initiatives, students gain practical exposure and contribute to meaningful projects.
Each semester we take a group of interdiscplinary students through a sustainability project. Students are required to attend weekly 1 hour meetings, attend 4 professional development workshops, and work on project outside weekly meeting times if needed. On average, a consultant spends 3-5 hours a week working on the project outside of regular meeting times.
