About our Organization

The NASA International Space Apps Challenge is the world’s largest annual hackathon, engaging participants across 160+ countries to solve challenges using NASA’s open-source data. For the first time, Cincinnati is hosting this event at the University of Cincinnati’s 1819 Innovation Hub, connecting 150–200 participants with mentors, judges, and collaborators from academia, industry, and the local community.

How our organization engages UC students

Through hands-on innovation, hackathon experience, mentorship, and global collaboration. Students join multidisciplinary teams to solve real-world challenges using NASA’s open data, gaining STEM skills, industry connections, and professional exposure.
