Cincinnati Preschool Promise

Cincinnati Preschool Promise is possible thanks to a significant investment from taxpayers. In 2016, and again in 2020, tax payers supported and approved –with overwhelming support– a 5-year Cincinnati Public Schools levy. The levy allocated $33 million per year to strengthen K-12 education and $15 million per year to expand access to quality preschool. Together with the United Way of Cincinnati, we created a plan to bring preschool expansion to our city, utilizing the funds to expand the number of high-quality preschools and to provide tuition assistance to families that need it most. We offer volunteer and internship opportunities. We provide tuition assistance for preschool to eligible families, which could benefit students with children.
