Mission - Artsville is the home of community arts where heARTS come to life. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting personal growth, self-expression, and appreciation of the visual, healing, literary, and performing arts by providing a nurturing environment for artist at all levels of their creative journey. Purpose - Artsville exists to anchor the heart of Madisonville in its people, history, and culture — especially as gentrification threatens to erase them. We are not just an arts center. We are a community space that uses creativity to resist displacement, foster connection, and amplify the voices of long-time residents. Artsville preserves neighborhood stories, supports local artists, and gives the community a platform to speak for itself — not be spoken for. In a community being reshaped by outside developers and new interests, Artsville stands as a place of belonging, cultural pride, and neighborhood-driven vision.
