About our Organization
The Ohio Cyber Range Institute (OCRI), a partnership with state government entities, represents a distinct model of how statewide action can improve security in cyberspace. The OCRI integrates, empowers, enables and advances cybersecurity across three missions of education, workforce development, and economic development.
The OCRI facilitates and coordinates the creation and delivery of tailored scalable cybersecurity programming through an ecosystem of designated state Regional Programming Centers (RPCs). This model produces a significant return on investment, leveraging existing expertise across Ohio to reduce unnecessary duplication of effort while enhancing outcomes through strategic coordination.
The OCRI is housed at and powered by the University of Cincinnati through an interdisciplinary partnership among UC's School of Information Technology, School of Public and International Affairs and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
