About our Organization

The Criminal Justice Society at the University of Cincinnati stands as the premier student organization within the realm of criminal justice on campus. As a member, you gain exclusive access to unparalleled opportunities. Immerse yourself in insightful prison visits and engage with distinguished guest speakers hailing from renowned agencies such as the FBI, DEA, ATF, and Homeland Security. Our roster of speakers also includes esteemed professionals ranging from lawyers, police officers, victim advocates, to judges, offering diverse perspectives and invaluable insights.

Each spring semester, the Criminal Justice Society proudly hosts the highly anticipated annual Career Expo, a flagship event right here on campus, offered entirely free to students. This Expo serves as a gateway to several career pathways, providing a platform for students to network with over 60 industry experts. From law enforcement and crime analysis to cybersecurity, social work, corrections, global corporate security, and asset protection, attendees gain firsthand exposure to a broad spectrum of career opportunities. Furthermore, some participating employers actively seek to fill positions, presenting an optimal opportunity for students to kickstart their journey into the criminal justice field.
