Indigo Hippo

Indigo Hippo's mission is to broaden access to creativity, reduce waste and inspire a sense of possibility by giving creative materials a second life in the hands of our community. Indigo Hippo is a non-profit organization dedicated to making creative materials accessible to everyone through our Art Supply Thrift Store, located in Over-the-Rhine. Founded in March 2016, our major effort is diverting materials from the waste stream, also known as Creative Reuse, and offering these resources on a pay-what-you-can scale to the community.  We also collaborate and support other community nonprofits and organizations with materials for their programming as well as our own.

In addition to providing a fun, relaxed environment to earn service hours, volunteers will find a supportive community here at Indigo Hippo.
