About our Organization

Lincoln Heights Outreach Incorporated (LHOI) was established in 2013 with a goal to provide opportunities and enrich the lives of families and individuals. Our mission is to empower families and individuals toward becoming self-sufficient through opportunities that impact their overall social, emotional, physical, mental, spiritual and economic well-being with the adjacent and surrounding neighborhoods in the city of Cincinnati and within Hamilton County Ohio. We do this by offering the programs and services: 1.) Food Pantry: Addresses the immediate nutritional needs of families and individuals, providing them with healthy and sustainable food options, ensuring that people are not held back by food insecurity while they work towards self-sufficiency. 2.) Clothing Closet: Offers access to essential clothing, helping families and individuals maintain dignity while also reducing the economic burden of clothing costs. 3.) Rent & Utility Assistance: Provides emergency financial support, preventing homelessness and utility shutoffs, and allowing families to focus on gaining stability through employment and other support programs. 4.) Workforce Development: Equips individuals with the skills, training, and support needed to secure stable employment, fostering economic independence and long-term career success. 5.) Health & Wellness: Promotes the physical and mental well-being of individuals by offering programs that focus on holistic health, including nutrition, fitness, and mental health support. 6.) Youth Enrichment Program: Provides a safe and supportive environment for children and youth before and after school and during the summer. This helps in the development of social, academic, and emotional skills that contribute to academic success and personal growth. 7.) Adult Day Service for Seniors: Supports seniors 60+ by offering social engagement, health services, and a sense of community, helping them remain independent and connected to the community. 8.) Cafe HOPE: Offers free, hot, nutritious meals in a family-style setting, creating a space for individuals and families to gather, socialize, and nourish their bodies while strengthening the community.
