About our Organization
We are a part of the CUF Neighborhood Association. The garden emphasizes native plants and food production. The property was blighted, vacant lot with trash and graffiti. However, it was next door to an established community garden. Five years ago, volunteer efforts redeveloped the land into a beautiful garden.
How our organization engages UC students
The community garden provides a direct way for students to increase the green space in the UC/CUF neighborhood and create positive change in the community.
