Caretenders Hospice

At Caretenders Hospice, we are more than an organization of hospice professionals – we are proud members of communities across south west Ohio. Compassionate, quality service is our mission. And to us, service means getting to know our patients on a personal level. We have been serving the 16 counties in the Dayton and Cincinnati area for over 12 years.

We are looking for engaging volunteers willing to give back to those in their communities with their time and presence. Whether it is to sit with the patient as a companion, talking, reading, singing, or just watching TV, helping out with fundraisers for our Hospice Promise Foundation, administrative help in our office, playing and helping with the patient's pet and pet care with our new Pet Peace of Mind program, yard and light house cleaning for hospice patients who can no longer do so for themselves, or as a veteran-to-veteran volunteer who shares a life of service with a former military veteran who can no longer get out and socialize in the community, our volunteers are an integral part of our care team for our patients.
