Empower-Her Ethiopia: The Yejimawork Foundation is an initiative committed to providing essential feminine hygiene products to girls and women in Ethiopia.

By addressing the gaps in knowledge about the menstrual cycle globally and locally, we aim to foster community awareness and empowerment. Our efforts include collecting and distributing feminine hygiene products, educating students, and establishing sustainable partnerships with clinics, schools, and organizations across Ethiopia.

Named in honor of the founder's mother Yejimawork, meaning "the land's gold," we are committed to empowering women so they can recognize their inherent worth.

Our organization engages UC students through hands-on participation in feminine care product donations and/or card-making for Ethiopian women, while fostering meaningful discussions about menstrual disparities.
